Joseph M. Like, age 95, of Troy, Ohio, died Saturday, February 10, 2007 at Miami Valley Hospital in Dayton. He was born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania on May 30, 1912 to the late John and Frances Matthews Like. He was married to Stella Altoff Like and she preceded him in death in 1993. Mr. Like is survived by daughters and sons-in-law, Dorothy and Russell Palsgrove of Casstown, Ohio and Estelle and Tom Watson of Waterford, New Jersey; sister, Marian Thompson of Pennsylvania; grandchildren, Matthew Palsgrove and Jennifer Watson-Miller; and great-grandchildren, Vicki Watson and Tracy James-Miller. He was preceded in death by two sisters and three brothers. Mr. Like was a US Army Veteran who served during WWII. He enjoyed square dancing and fishing. He retired in 1970 from driving Trolleys and Busses for SEPTA for over 35 years. Private services will be held at the convenience of the family.
