Joseph C. Langley, 89, of Troy, Ohio and formerly of Oceanside, California, died on Thursday, April 20, 2006 at the Upper Valley Medical Center, Troy, Ohio, after a brief illness. He was born on February 14, 1917 in Vallijo, California to the late Joseph and Mary O'Connell Langley. He married Margaret Peg Hahn and she precedes him in death in 1987. He is survived by a sister, Shirley Pearson of Vista, California; grandson, Benjamin A. Randall, Troy, OH; granddaughters, Michelle Bryant of Covington, OH; Melissa Paul Bryant of Troy, OH and Samantha Randall of Piqua, OH. He has several great grandchildren and one great-great granddaughter. He is preceded in death by three children, Deanna Voris; Kent Langley and Mark Langley and several brothers and sister. He was of the Catholic faith and was a US Army veteran, serving during WWII. There will be a private family service.
