Joseph L. Hahnel, age 74 of Troy, Ohio passed away peacefully on Sunday, December 17, 2000. He retired from Sara Lee in St. Joseph, MO in 1989. Previously he worked for four years at Braun Brothers Packing Company in Troy, Ohio. He attended the University of Notre Dame, University of Dayton and Sinclair College. He was a member of the Elks Lodge. He is survived by his wife, Marlene Durst Hahnel. His children, Christine Hahnel; Joseph E. Hahnel; David and wife, Rose Landis; Connie and husband, Bruce Thomas; Daniel and wife, Kathy Landis and Timothy and wife, Lynn Landis; nine grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
