JoRita Elliott, 74, of Troy passed away on May 11, 2003 at the Upper Valley Medical Center in Troy, Ohio. She was born to the late C.M. Schultheis and Helen Duffy Schultheis in South Bend, IN. on September, 29, 1928. She later married Richard P. Elliott. She is survived by her husband of more than 54 years. Also surviving are their three children, Mike & Connie Elliott of Dayton; Mary & Tom Hawkins of Troy; and Phil & Julie Elliott of San Antonio, Texas. Also one grandson, Aaron of San Antonio, Texas. JoRita was active in St. Patrick's Catholic Church, having served as a youth teacher, and was a teller for 13 years with Miami Citizens Bank as well as assisting 10 years in various real estate offices. She was beloved and respected by all who knew her. She will be greatly missed by her two sisters, Terese & Al Laughrey of Dayton; and Catherine & Jerry Taylor of Portage, MI and three brothers, Don & Patty Schultheis of South Bend, IN; Bob & Pat Schultheis of South Bend, IN; and Tom & Faye Schultheis of Albuquerque, NM. A memorial Mass will be held at St. Patrick's Catholic Church on Friday, May 16, 2003 at 10:00am. In lieu of flowers, donations may be sent to the Sister of St. Joseph, 1440 W. Division Road, Tipton, IN 46072.
