Jon Charles Mann, age 78, of Troy, OH passed away on July 25, 2025 at the Upper Valley Medical Center. He was born on January 13, 1947 in Summit County, OH.

He is survived by his sister: Jorjean Knife; many nieces and nephews; longtime friend: Sherry Scheuerman and his lifetime companions: his St. Bernards. He was preceded in death by his parents: LeRoy and Emma (Chisnell) Mann; siblings: Jackie Fahey, Janice Butts, Jenine Chapman, Jette Chapman, Jerald "Rick" Mann, Joan Heminger, Janet Elam and Joy Ludwick.

He was a graduate of Patterson Co-op High School and received an Associates Degree from Sinclair. He was formerly employed with Hobart Brothers Company for 27 years, Gallagher and Associates for over six years, Troy City Schools as a substitute bus driver and aide for two years and retired from Emerson after ten years of service.

Jon was an active member of Corvette Troy. He was a former member of the Troy Moose Lodge and a member of the Hobart Quarter Century Club. He was a history buff and enjoyed the Ohio canals, bike riding and traveling and competing with the corvette club.

Service will be held at 11:00 AM on Friday, August 1, 2025 at Riverside Cemetery Chapel in Troy.  The family will receive friends prior to the service from 10:00 AM – 11:00 AM on Friday at the chapel.
