Jon A. Hobart Jon A. Hobart, age 67, of Casstown, Ohio, passed away on Sunday, October 9, 2011 at Upper Valley Medical Center, Troy, Ohio. He was born on May 30, 1944 in Troy to the late Charles C. Hobart, Sr. and Rachael Elizabeth Russell Hobart. His wife, Janet Trostel Hobart, preceded him in death on April 5, 2003. Survivors include his two daughters and a son-in-law, Tiffiny and Eric Peltier of Fletcher, Ohio and Heather Hobart of Christiansburg, Ohio; brother and sister-in-law, Edward J. and Marilyn Hobart of Troy; six grandchildren: Brittney Hobart, Amber Jenkins-Hobart, Katie Jenkins-Hobart, Brad Jenkins-Hobart, Abby Jenkins-Hobart and Devon Thieman; and numerous nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents and his wife, Jon was preceded in death by his sister, Elizabeth B. Hobart and two brothers, Edmund F. Hobart and Charles C. Hobart, Jr. He was a graduate of Troy High School and Edison State College. Jon retired from Hobart Brothers Company. Funeral services will be held at 10:00AM on Friday, October 14, 2011 at Baird Funeral Home, Troy with interment to follow at Riverside Cemetery, Troy.
