Jack Wilson, age 80, of Troy, OH passed away peacefully on Saturday evening, May 24, 2025.  He was born on July 17, 1944, in Brownsville, TX to the late Robert W. Jr. and Dorothy R. (Kline) Wilson.

He is survived by his three children: John (Kristie) Wilson of Troy, Deidre Wilson of Springfield, MO, Patrick (Melinda) Wilson of Grandview; his five stepchildren: Kimberly (Kevin) Bergman of Ansonia, John (Nicole) Ernst of Tipp City, David (Renee) Ernst of Canton, GA, Jill (Mark) Holobach of Canton, GA and Daniel (Audrey) Ernst of Beavercreek; his grandchildren: Beth Wilson, Rob (Emily) Wilson (great-grandson, Winston), Lila and Charlie Raridon, Gabrielle (Colin) Fugger, Kindred and Mae Wilson; his step grandchildren: DJ, Logan, Cory, Collin, Taylor, Shelby, Peyton, Dylan, Vaughn, Gibson and Harper Ernst, Kayla, Brittany, and Sherry Bergman, Roslyn, Riley, Grace and Ian Northover; and many step great grandchildren. He has one surviving brother Ronald Wilson. Jack is also survived by his dog Prince, who was a loyal and loving companion, providing unconditional love and attention.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his beloved wife Barbara Ernst Wilson, his brother David Wilson, and his grandson, Connor Wilson.

Jack was a 1962 graduate of Bucyrus High School and later attended Ohio State University. He began a career in industry in Columbus, Ohio which later morphed into a career in construction contracting throughout the tri-state area. Jack was a member of Holy Trinity Parish (Bucyrus) and subsequently, Saint Patrick Parish (Troy). Jack was a member of the Troy Country Club where he spent many hours golfing and socializing with his dear wife Barbara. Jack also enjoyed golfing wherever he went, including his vacation timeshare in the Outer Banks of North Carolina or his retirement home in the Villages of Florida.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30 AM on Thursday, May, 29th, 2025 at St. Patrick Catholic Church in Troy, Ohio with burial to follow in Riverside Cemetery, Troy.  The family will receive friends from 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm on Wednesday, May 28th, 2025 at Baird Funeral Home in Troy, Ohio.
