John Douglas Spraul John Douglas "Doug" Spraul, 65, of Troy, Ohio, passed away peacefully after a brief illness on Monday, August 20, 2007, at Miami Valley Hospital, Dayton, OH. He was born December 5, 1941, in Piqua, OH, to the late Paul T. and Margaret Chronerberry Spraul. He married Geraldine "Gerry" Dagley Spraul on November 30, 1963. He is survived by his wife Gerry of 43 years; daughters and son-in-law: Kim Bramlage of Clayton, OH and Kari and Rob Dillman of Tipp City, OH; brothers and sisters-in-law: Dave and Sally Spraul of Post Falls, Idaho and Dan and Jackie Spraul of Troy, OH; and grandchildren: Logan Douglas Bramlage, Connor Charles Bramlage, Nicole Lynn Dillman, and John Douglas "JD" Dillman. Doug was also survived by nieces, nephews and numerous cousins and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents. Doug was a graduate of Troy High School, class of 1959 and attended Bowling Green State University. He was a member of St. Patrick Catholic Church, Troy, Elks BPOE 833, Troy Fish and Game and the Troy Tennis Association. Doug retired from BF Goodrich after 36 years of service and he most recently worked at Mader/Express Care. Funeral Mass will be held at 9:00AM Saturday, August 25, 2007, at St. Patrick Catholic Church, Troy, OH, with the Rev. Fr. Geoffrey Drew celebrating. Family will receive friends from 5-8PM Friday at Baird Funeral Home, Troy.
