John M. Romanick, age 91, of Troy, Ohio died Monday, October 16, 2006 at his residence. Born of the late Frank and Aniela Betleja Romanick. He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife, Emma I. Nickel Romanick, three brothers and two sisters. He is survived by two sisters-in-law, Mary Nickel and Sophie Romaniak and many nieces and nephews. He was a veteran of the US Army, serving as Staff Sergeant during WWII; member of St. Patrick Catholic Church, Troy; member of the American Legion #586, Tipp City; VFW #3456. He was a Miami County residence for over 60 years. He was a driver for Gibbons Tool Manufacturer and farmed for them, retiring from Jericho Industries in 1990.
