John Addison Parrish John Addison Parrish, age 79, of Troy, Ohio, passed away at 9:40PM on Tuesday, April 12, 2011 at Heartland of Piqua, Piqua, Ohio. He was born on April 8, 1932 in Cliftop, West Virginia to the late Lonnie L. and Ethel Beaver Parrish. He married Frances Stokley Parrish in 1954 and she survives. He is also survived by his son and daughter-in-law, Daniel and Kaari Wennen Parrish of North Pole, Alaska; daughter and son-in-law, Roxanne and Roger Miller of Sumiton, Alabama; brothers and sisters-in-law, Dallas and Dee Parrish of Plymouth, Michigan and Larry and Glenna Parrish of Smoot, West Virginia; sisters and brothers-in-law: Gretta and W.J. Flanagan of Ravenswood, West Virginia and Diana and David Keller of Beckley, West Virginia; four grandchildren: Rebecca, Matthew and Joanna Parrish of North Pole, Alaska and Roger Angie Miller of Summersville, West Virginia; three great-grandchildren: Tyler, Brandon and Maddox Miller. In addition to his parents, John was preceded in death by three brothers: Lowell, Paul and Mark Parrish and one sister, Selma Toliver. He graduated from Nuttall High School in Lookout, West Virginia. John was a member of Union Baptist Church and the Nashville Coon and Gun Club. He retired from the US Air Force after 20 years of service with the Fire Department and later from the Civil Service Fire Prevention at Wright Patterson Air Force Base, Fairborn, Ohio.
