JOHN LOUIS MORGAN

JOHN LOUIS MORGAN, age 72, of Casstown, passed away on Monday, October 13, 2014 at Upper Valley Medical Center in Troy.  He was born in Studley, KS on May 3, 1942 to the late Louis Grant and Naomi Maxine (Niaman) Morgan.  John married Estella Jean Meyer and she survives.

John is also survived by one son and daughter-in-law: William J. and Dee Meyer of Troy, OH; one daughter and son-in-law: Kaye L. and Bruce Plantz of Casstown, OH; one sister: Clara Viola Howard of Mineral Wells, TX; six grandchildren: Sarah, Jason, Matt, Andrew, Dustin and Morgan; and three great grandchildren: Archer, Luna and Mason.

John was a member of AMVETS Post 88 in Troy and Troy Fish and Game Club.  He retired from West Milton Precision Machine and Tool after 26 1/2 years as a welder.  John also worked at AAA Machine Shop in Dayton, OH.

Funeral service will be at 2:00 PM on Thursday, October 16, 2014 at Baird Funeral Home in Troy.  Burial will follow in Casstown Cemetery.  Friends may call from 12:00 Noon – 2:00 PM on Thursday at the funeral home.
