John A. Hunt John A. Hunt, age 53, of Troy, Ohio died at 7:00AM Tuesday, March 10, 2009 at his residence. He was born on August 12, 1955 in Urbana, Ohio to Roy T. And Betty Westfall Hunt of Piqua, Ohio. In addition to his parents, John is survived by his wife of 30 years, Debra J. Carter Hunt; two daughters and a son-in-law: Robyn and Nick Anderson of Troy and Shannon Hunt of New Lexington, Ohio; two sisters and a brother-in-law: Susan and Bob Scott of Enon, Ohio and Karla Hunt of Sandston, Virginia; one grandson, Reme Anderson of Troy; and one granddaughter, Sullivan Anderson of Troy. He is also survived by many aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews. John graduated from Piqua High School in June of 1973 and from Bowling Green University in 1977. He was a member of Grace Baptist Church, Troy and served as president of the Miami East Junior Diamond Sports for many years. He coached his daughters and his "girls" in the Junior Diamond Fast-Pitch Softball for over seven years. He loved being with family and friends and doing out-door yard work around the house. He also enjoyed attending Dayton Dragons baseball games. John worked as the purchasing agent for Jackson Tube in Piqua, Ohio. A memorial service will be held at 2:00PM on Sunday, March 15, 2009 at Grace Baptist Church, Troy, with Pastor Shawn Hess officiating.
