John Harvey Harden, age 88, of Troy, OH; formerly of Pontiac, MI passed away on January 22, 2022.  He was born on May 14, 1933 in Indiana to the late John Wesley Harden and Gladys (Skidmore) Harden.

John is survived by his daughter and sons-in-law: Brenda and Steve Henry of Overland Park, KS and Richard P. Pierce of Troy, OH; grandchildren: Jonathan (Nicole) Henry, Shawn (Mukta) Henry, both of KS, and Richard (Jennifer) Pierce, Joshua (Brandy) Pierce, Samuel (Amy) Pierce and Caleb (Tara) Pierce, all of Troy; twelve great grandchildren; one great great grandchild; and sisters: Edith Cross- Beals of FL and Mary Hansen of MI.  In addition to his parents, he was preceded by his wife, Dorothy Marie (Sloat) Harden on August 15, 2010; infant daughter; his daughter: Bonita K. Pierce and granddaughter: Crystal Pierce, both in 2020; and brothers: Eugene Harden, Roscoe Harden, Thomas Harden and William Harden.

Services in Ohio will be held at 2:00PM on Wednesday, January 26, 2022 at Koinos Christian Fellowship, 722 Grant Street, Troy, OH.  The family will receive friends prior to the service from 12:00-2:00PM on Wednesday.

Services in Michigan will be held at 11:00 AM on Thursday, January 27, 2022 at Harvest Land Ministry in Clarkston, MI.  The family will receive friends from 10:00 – 11:00 AM on Thursday at the church.  A private interment will take place in White Chapel Cemetery Memorial Park, Troy, MI.
