John Mason Gose, age 61, of Troy, OH passed away at his residence on January 22, 2025.  He was born on August 9, 1963 in Dayton, OH to Jennifer Clossman Gose of Troy, OH and the late Dick Gose.

In addition to his mother and stepfather, Jennifer and Douglas Coate, he is survived by his seven sisters: Sarah (Steve) Amann of New Carlisle, OH, Eugena Coate of Ft. Wayne, IN, Kelli (Bob) Minnich of Ft. Wayne, IN, Laura (Jared) Brock of New Carlisle, OH, Melissa (Holley) Coate of Troy, OH, Jessica (Dave) DeHart of Dayton, OH and Cassandra (Robert) Fraley of Troy, OH; three brothers: Steve (Tammy) Gose of New Carlisle, Rob Coate of Troy, OH and Mike Pfeifer of Troy, OH and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and close friends.  In additional to his father, he was preceded in death by his nephew, Steve Gose, Jr.

John earned his Associates Degree from Sinclair Community College.  He enjoyed fishing, tinkering with computers, older muscle cars and being around his family. John was a generous and loving as well as a vital member of our family and will be greatly missed. He was a retired Laser Tech with NDC Technologies.

Service will be held at 1:00 PM on Thursday, January 30, 2025 at the Baird Funeral Home, Troy with interment to follow in Fletcher Cemetery.  The family will receive friends from 4:00 PM – 6:00 PM on Wednesday, January 29, 2025 at the funeral home.
