John J. Fisher, age 100, of Troy passed away on Sunday, October 5, 2025 at Hospice of Miami County. He was born on September 7, 1925 in Darke County, OH to the late John and Minnie (Hollinger) Fisher.

He is survived by his two children: Suzanne L. Fisher of Twinsburg and Joseph John Fisher of Troy; three grandchildren: Jason John (Andrea) Fisher, Justin John (Nikki) Fisher and Jenna Leigh Fisher and two great grandchildren: Shelby Fisher and Lainy Jane Fisher. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife of 69 years of marriage: Jane E. (Compton) Fisher; three brothers: Howard, Wilbur and Ralph Fisher and sister: Erma Crawford.

John was a graduate of Miami Jacobs Business College. He was a member of the First Lutheran Church of Troy. He retired as manager of Adam Wholesalers in Dayton.

Service will be held 11:00 AM on Friday, October 10, 2025 at Baird Funeral Home, Troy with interment to follow in Forest Hills Memorial Gardens in Vandalia. The family will receive friends prior to the service from 10:00 AM – 11:00 AM on Friday.
