John R. Entingh, 74, of Tipp City, Ohio and formerly of Troy, Ohio died on Thursday, August 31, 2006 at the Miami Valley Hospital, Dayton, Ohio. He was born on July 14, 1932 in Cleveland, Ohio to the late Adolph and Thelma Downing Entingh. He is survived by his wife of 25 years, Sally Horton Entingh; eight children, sons & daughter-in-laws; Greg Kathy Entingh of Dallas, TX; Larry Entingh of Dallas, TX; Bill Entingh of Troy, OH; Cliff Laurie Entingh of Minnesota; Jason Entingh and Josh Entingh, both of West Milton, OH; daughters & son-in-law; Connie Richard Bubeck of Piqua, OH and Nikki Jerred Vogler of Houston, OH; two step-sons; Danny Winchell of Indiana and Tim Traci Daffner of Mason, OH; two brothers & sister-in-laws; Mel Doris Entingh; Ray Joanne Entingh, both of Dayton; OH and one sister & brother-in-law; Babe Ted Price of Illinois; thirty grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, and one grandson, Clinton Travis Entingh. He was a member of the Troy Church of Nazarene. He was a graduate of Chardon High School. He retired as a general handyman. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, September 5, 2006 @ 10:30AM at the Baird Funeral Home, Troy, Ohio with the Rev. Ron Barber officiating. Burial will be in Forest Hills Cemetery, Piqua, Ohio. Friends may call on the family, Monday, September 4, 2006 from 2-4PM at the Baird Funeral Home, Troy, Ohio.
