Joanne Lorene Spofford, age 77, of Vandalia, OH passed away on Thursday, February 7, 2019 at Crossroads in Vandalia.  Joanne was born on November 19, 1941 in Omaha, NB to the late Joseph and Anne (Guler) DuCharme.

Joanne is survived by two daughters and son-in-law:  Sara and Brian Robbins of Troy, OH and Julee Brooke, The Hague, Netherlands; brother: Richard DuCharme of Colorado Springs, CO; grandchildren: Abigail Robbins, Danielle Robbins, Christopher Robbins and Brian Pennington; niece: Jacqlyn Jae DuCharme and nephew: Jeffrey Scott DuCharme; and former husband: Robert Spofford.  In addition to her parents, Joanne was preceded in death by brother: Don DuCharme.

Joanne received her Bachelor of Science degree from McCallister College in St. Paul, MN.  She worked as a secretary at Martin Marietta from 1966 to 1973.

Services will be held at 7:00 PM on Monday, February 18, 2019 at the Baird Funeral Home, Troy, OH with Rev. Shawn Hess officiating.  Graveside Service will be held at 3:00 PM on Tuesday in Riverside Cemetery, Troy, OH.  The family will receive friends from 5:00 – 7:00 PM on Monday at the funeral home.
