JoAnn Burden Dunlavey, 77, of Troy, Ohio passed out of this life on Wednesday, December 1, 2004 at the Upper Valley Medical Center, Troy, Ohio. She was born August 16, 1927 in Wapakoneta, Ohio to the late Ferdinand and Mary Hazel Fry Burden. She is preceded in death by her husband, Charles T. ''Hank'' Dunlavey, he passed on September 25, 1994. She is survived by her five children and their spouses, daughters and sons-in-law: Nicki Jo and James Roach of Troy, Ohio; Jeanne and Chris Brown of Troy, Ohio; Jayne and Shawn Russell of Troy, Ohio; Barbara Lynn and Jessie Jewell of Cottonwood, Arizona and son and daughter-in-law; Charles A. and Penny Dunlavey of Pemberton, Ohio. Also surviving, sister, Alice Waterman of New Bremen, Ohio and brothers, Paul Burden of Denver, CO; Ferdinand Burden Jr. of Payne, OH; William Burden of Spencerville, OH; and Rev. Mark Burden of Findlay, Ohio. Also there are five grandchildren and two step-grandchildren, and seven great-grandchildren and three step-great-grandchildren. Along with her husband preceding her in death are three brothers and two sisters. She was a member of the First Baptist Church in Troy, Ohio and VFW Women's Auxiliary Post #5436, Troy, Ohio. Burial will be in Dayton Memorial Park, Dayton, Ohio. There will be a special VFW Women's Auxiliary Service at the funeral home on Friday, December 3, 2004 at 7:30pm.
