JERRY F. GNODLE

Jerry F. Gnodle, age 75, of Troy passed away on Tuesday, December 23, 2014 at Genesis/Troy Care and Rehabilitation.  He was born in Casstown on December 23, 1939 to the late Joseph F. and Irene (Shanks) Gnodle.  His wife of 51 years, Linda (Wolfe) Gnodle, survives.

Jerry is also survived by two daughters: Kristine (John) Alexander of FL and Julie (Rick) Brewer of Tipp City; one sister: Marlene Frost of Dayton; and three grandchildren: Ashley Miller and Katie and Aaron Alexander.  In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one brother: James Gnodle; and one sister: Nancy Methena.

Jerry proudly served his country as a member of the US Navy.  He was a painter at Hobart for 38 years.  Jerry was a member of Church of the Brethren and the Troy Fish and Game.

Services will be held at 11:00 AM on Monday, December 29, 2014 at Baird Funeral Home in Troy with Pastor John Keller and Paul Napier officiating.  Burial will follow in Riverside Cemetery in Troy.  Friends may call from 10-11 AM on Monday at the funeral home.
