Jerry L. Baldwin, age 75, of Troy, Ohio died Tuesday, July 7, 2009 at Hospice of Dayton, Dayton, Ohio. He was born February 26, 1934 in Tipp City, OH to the late George W. and Vera Mauk Baldwin. He is survived by his wife, Donna Elkins Baldwin; daughter and son-in-law, Jennifer and Terry Henley of Troy, OH; son and daughter-in-law, G.H. Scott and Chelsea Baldwin of West Liberty, OH; sister, Marilyn Hanley of Kettering, OH; and grandchildren, Walker Henley and Lance Baldwin. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brothers, Ron and Keith "Bud" Baldwin. Jerry was a graduate of LostCreek Schools and R.E.T.S. Tech Training HVAC Certified. He was a Korean War Veteran having served in the US Marines; lifemember of the Marine Corp League; lifemember of the VFW Post #5436; and served on the VFW Memorial Honor Guard. He retired from Chrysler Corporation. Services will be held 2:00PM Sunday, July 12, 2009 at the Baird Funeral Home, Troy, OH with interment in Casstown Cemetery, Casstown, OH. VFW Memorial Honor Guard services will be held graveside. Friends may call at the Baird Funeral Home, Troy from 5-8PM on Saturday.
