JEFFREY R. HENNESSEY, age 55, of Troy, passed away on Sunday, April 23, 2017 at Kindred Hospital in Dayton.  He was born on January 27, 1962 in Troy to Richard W. Hennessey and the late Marilyn L. (Gerhard) Hennessey.

Jeff is survived by his father and stepmother: Richard W. and Alice Hennessey of Tipp City; and one sister: Chris Hahnel of Columbus.  In addition to his mother, Jeff was preceded in death by one brother: Joseph Hahnel.

Jeff was a 1980 graduate of Troy High School.  He was an integral part of the group Sing Out, Troy.  Drumming for Sing Out was something he had in common with his brother, Joseph.  The entire Hennessey family was deeply involved in Sing Out, Troy and its success.

Memorial service will be held at 7:00 PM on May 4, 2017 at Baird Funeral Home, 555 N. Market Street, Troy, OH with Rev. Steven Gellatly officiating.  Friends may call from 6:00-7:00 PM on May 4, 2017 at the funeral home.
