Jeanne Ann Seymour, age 65, of St. Paris, passed away on August 27, 2024, at Miami Valley Hospital in Dayton.  She was born on May 11, 1959, in Sidney to Sarah (Marvin) Purtee of DeGraff and the late Floyd "Bud" Purtee.

Jeanne is survived by three children: David (Hilary) Blankenship of London, Krystal (Todd) Smith of Casstown and Bob (Alexis) Nesser of St. Paris; siblings: Dean (Lisa) Purtee of Jackson Center, Beth (Jim) Wright of Russells Point and Mike Purtee of Russells Point; ten grandchildren; and four great grandchildren.  In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by her husband: Homer Nesser.

Jeanne was a graduate of Indian Lake High School.  She was a member of Renewed Strength Church in Westville, OH.  Jeanne was very active with her family in Light On The Hill Venue in Casstown.  She was a horse trainer for many years along with her husband.  Jeanne managed Walmart in Bellefontaine and Dollar General in Christiansburg.

A celebration of life will be held from 1:00-4:00 PM on Saturday, September 7, 2024, at The Light on the Hill Venue, 2900 Rugged Hill Road, Casstown.
