Jeanette "Jean" E. Asher, age 82, of Troy, passed away on Tuesday, December 7, 2021, at Hospice of Miami County Inpatient.  She was born on February 1, 1939 in Chicago, IL to the late David Mitchell and Lillian (Anderson) Boston.

Jean is survived by daughters: Karin Francis, Nancy (Mark) Bingaman, Gerri Lyn Jamison; Carol (Tim) Owens, and Janice (Kevin) Rose; brother: Gary (Sandra) Boston; eight grandchildren: Jonah Grigsby; Brock (Ashlee) Thokey; TJ Owens; Lauren (Scott McDonald) Conley; Jonathan (Ashley Bigelow) Francis; Jeni (Jeremy) Martin; Shelby Owens; and Brandon Conley; and 10 great grandchild: Weston, Kevin, Isaac, Naomi, Jax, Blakely, Reagan, Madison, Evelyn and Riece.  Jean was preceded in death by her husband: Gerald Asher.

Jean worked at Garfield Shoes as a bookkeeper for 15 years and at Meijer's for 6 years.

A graveside service will be held at 2PM on Tuesday, December 14, 2021 at Riverside Cemetery with the Rev. Ed Ellis officiating.
