Jean S. Stump Jean S. Stump, age 85, of Piqua, Ohio, passed away at 11:55PM on Wednesday, March 9, 2011 at her residence. She was born on January 8, 1926 in Chillicothe, Ohio to the late James T. and Esther Evans Swinning. Her husband of 64 years, Roy E. Stump, survives. She is also survived by her two daughters and sons-in-law: Joyce and Darrell Sweeney of Columbia, South Carolina and Sue and Samuel Cope of Troy; one son and daughter-in-law, Jack and Sheri Stump of Campbellsville, Kentucky; six grandchildren; two step-grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; three step-great-grandchildren; one brother and sister-in-law: James T. and Aida Swinning of San Antonio, Texas; one niece and numerous cousins. She was preceded in death by her parents. She was a graduate of Wayne High School and was a member of the First United Methodist Church, Troy. She worked as a cosmetics clerk at M&R Drug for twenty years. Visitation will be from 4-6PM Sunday, March 13, 2011 at Baird Funeral Home, Troy. A funeral service will be held at 1:00PM on Monday, March 14, 2011 at the funeral home with interment to follow at Riverside Cemetery, Troy. Rev. Dr. Richard Culp will officiate.
