Jean Ann Stone Wolfe, age 90, of Troy, OH passed away on September 8, 2021 at Brookdale of Troy.  She was born on October 9, 1930 in Troy to the late Herbert T. and Lenora (Lump) Schmidt.

Jean is survived by her husband of 30 years: Desmond L. Wolfe; daughter and son-in-law: Cheree Ann and Tim Daffner of Troy, OH; stepchildren: Linda S. Wolfe of Troy, OH, Cathy Wolfe of Troy, OH, Timothy J. Wolfe of Delaware, OH and Mona C. (Michael) Mullendore of Chapin, SC; grandchildren: James W. Daffner of Westerville, OH, Michael A. Daffner of Grove City, OH,  Mason D. (Darcy) Mullendore of Kalispell, MT and Mallorie E. (David) Macko of Elk Grove, CA; sister-in-law: Rhoda Schmidt of Troy, OH; and a niece and two nephews.

In addition to her parents, Jean was preceded in death by her first husband: Claude E. Stone on July 8, 1988; her son: James Claude Stone; her stepson: Robert D. Wolfe; and her brothers and sister-in-law: Herbert J. Schmidt and Jack (Terri) Schmidt.

Jean was a 1949 graduate of Troy High School.  She was a member of the First Lutheran Church in Troy.  She was a former member of the Altrusa Club of Troy and Past President of the Elks Ladies Social Club.  She was formerly employed with Hobart Manufacturing Company and BF Goodrich in Troy and retired from the First United Church of Christ in Troy after 21 ½ years of service as financial secretary and bookkeeper.  She was a former volunteer with Troy Hayner Cultural Center and Troy City Schools.

Services will be held at 2:30 PM on Saturday, September 11, 2021, at the Baird Funeral Home, Troy with Rev. Don Crist officiating.  Interment will follow in Casstown Cemetery, Casstown.  The family will receive friends from 4:00 – 7:00 PM on Friday at the funeral home.
