Jean D. Schoknecht Jean D. Schoknecht, age 91, formerly of Troy, Ohio and Arcadia, Florida and more recently of Morton Grove, Illinois went home to be with the Lord on Friday, January 6, 2012. She was born on May 11, 1920 in Chicago, Illinois. Jean was preceded in death by her husband, Alfred on December 17, 1968. Survivors include her four children: Paul Janice Schoknecht of Wadsworth, Illinois, Robert Patricia Schoknecht of Troy, Penny Jack Hoekstra of Troy, Patricia Sylvie Schoknecht of Winter Park, Florida; five grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren; and a sister, Betty Kramer of North Redington, Florida. Jean was a member of First United Methodist Church, Troy. Arrangements are pending for a private family service. If so desired, memorial contributions may be made to your favorite charity.
