Jean Evelyn Hawes Knoch Jean Evelyn Hawes Knoch, age 69, of Casstown, Ohio, went to be with her Lord on Tuesday, October 28, 2008 at SpringMeade, Tipp City, Ohio. She was born on July 17, 1939 in Ada, Ohio, to the late Homer Hawes and Juanita Sanders Hawes Dearwester of Kenton, Ohio. In addition to her mother, Jean is survived by two daughters and a son-in-law: Terressa Knoch of Vandalia, Ohio and Cristina and Joe Suerdieck of Rochester, Illinois; two sons and daughters-in-law: Jeffery and Kim Knoch of Lynnwood, Washington and Carl and Jessica Knoch of Centerville, Ohio; special friend, John Snyder of Casstown, Ohio; one sister, Joyce Rodgers of Kenton, Ohio; seven grandchildren: Ben Michele Suerdieck, Emily Suerdieck, Amanda Michael Knoch, Sylvan, Tiffany and Kali Knoch and Crystal Foster; six great-grandchildren: December, Nikki, Cartez, Summer, Jaden and Talon. She was preceded in death by her father, one sister, Susan Dearwester and one brother, James Edward Hawes. After graduating from high school, Jean attended Ohio Northern University in Ada, Ohio. She was a member of the Troy Senior Citizens and former President of PTO at Forest School. She was also a former optician with Dr. Penny in Vandalia, Ohio and a former Kindergarten assistant with Troy City Schools. Funeral services will be held at 1:00PM Saturday, November 1, 2008 at Baird Funeral Home, Troy, with interment to follow in Miami Memorial Park, Covington, Ohio.
