Jean A. Goedde Jean A. Goedde, age 83, of Troy, Ohio, passed away on Monday, October 11, 2010 at her residence. She was born on December 16, 1926 in Marietta, Ohio to the late Frederick and Grace Cassady O'Neal. In 1949, she married Gerald Goedde and he preceded her in death in 1988. She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Thomas and Cynthia Goedde of Piqua, Ohio; brother and sister-in-law, Joe and Karen O'Neal of Ann Arbor, Michigan; two grandsons, Philip and John Goedde; two nieces, Heidi Hofer of Paris, France and Heather O'Neal of Ann Arbor, Michigan; and one nephew, Andrew O'Neal of Ann Arbor, Michigan. Mrs. Goedde was a 1948 graduate of The Ohio State University School of Nursing where she received her Bachelor of Science of Nursing. She remained active in organizing reunions for Alpha Gamma Sigma Agricultural Fraternity at The Ohio State University for the past 60 years. Mrs. Goedde retired from Piqua Memorial Hospital after 21 years of service as a registered nurse. Services will be held at 10:00AM on Saturday, October 16, 2010 at Baird Funeral Home, Troy. Interment will follow in a private ceremony at a later date. Friends may call from 4-7PM on Friday at the funeral home.
