Jay Michael Downing Jay Michael Downing, age 62, of Troy, Ohio, died at 9:28PM Monday, February 4, 2008 at Upper Valley Medical Center, Troy following a short illness. He was born January 5, 1946 in London, England, to the late Maynard and Daphne Robinson Downing. Mr. Downing is survived by his wife Darlene Zeller Hurst; two sons: Jay Matthew Downing and Michael Allen Downing both of Troy, Ohio; two daughters and a son-in-law: Melissa and Kelly Henry of Piqua, Ohio and Julie Hurst of Lawrenceville, GA; two brothers: Rex Downing of Colorado Springs, CO and Tab Downing of Troy, Ohio; one sister and brother-in-law: Jan Downing and Tom Kinnard of Troy, Ohio; and three grandchildren: Jessica, Danny and Vance. He was preceded in death by his parents. Mr. Downing was a 1964 graduate of Troy High School. A memorial service will be held at 7:30PM Thursday, February 7, 2008 at Baird Funeral Home, Troy, with Pastor Jerry Collins officiating.
