Jason Rawn Shively, 19, of 2473 Thornhill Drive, Troy, entered into glory March 14, 2001 approximately 5PM at the Tabernacle of the Lord Jesus Christ, Troy. He was born at Stouder Memorial Hospital, June 13, 1981 the son of Steve and Barbara Shively. Jason was a graduate of Troy Christian School 8th grade, 1995, graduate of Troy High School, 1999 and a sophomore at Miami University Ohio majoring in computer technology. Jason was a long time member of Boy Scouts of America, Troop 1033. He received his Eagle scout rank June of 1999 and was currently a registered adult leader in the troop. He especially enjoyed his three high adventure campouts at Tinnerman Winderness Canoe Base in Canada, two of those being with his father. He is survived by his immediate family: parents, Steve and Barb Shively, brother Jared, two sisters, Esther Shively and Sarah Simon, with her husband Shane and their daughter Sierra; one great grandmother, Faith Shively of Bradford, grandparents, Fred and Mary Shively of Covington and Robert McVeigh of Northridgeville, Ohio; and many, many great aunts, great uncles, uncles, aunts and cousins. A memorial service will be held in the Troy Christian Elementary gym on Saturday, March 17 at 3:00PM.
