Janice G. Heizer Smallwood Janice G. Heizer Smallwood, age 69, of Troy, Ohio, passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, March 25, 2008 at her residence. She was born February 28, 1939, in Menifee County, KY, to the late Nelson and Bessie Campbell Heizer. She married Jessie K. Smallwood who preceded her in death on July 22, 2005. Mrs. Smallwood is survived by three sons and one daughter-in-law: Rick and Beth Smallwood of Conover, Ohio, Ronnie Smallwood of Troy and Rex Smallwood and fiancé Vickie Galloway of Fletcher, Ohio; one daughter and son-in-law, Rhonda and Jim Bergman of Troy; three sisters: Marie Luke of Mt. Orab, OH, Geneva Powers of Frenchburg, KY and Betty Osborne of Frenchburg, KY; two brothers: William Heizer of Vandalia, OH and Kenneth Heizer of Kettering, OH; and three grandchildren: Zach Bergman of Troy, Sam Smallwood of Conover and Kathryn Smallwood of Troy. In addition to her parents and her husband, Mrs. Smallwood was preceded in death by six brothers and one sister. Mrs. Smallwood was a homemaker and a totally devoted mother. She was also an avid bingo player. Funeral services will be held at 1:00PM Monday, March 31, 2008, at Baird Funeral Home, Troy, with interment to follow at Casstown Cemetery, Casstown, Ohio.
