Janice J. Boram

Janice J. Boram, age 79, recently of Piqua, formerly of Troy, went to be with her Lord on Wednesday, July 09, 2014 at Heartland of Piqua.  She was born on April 10, 1935 in Troy, Ohio to the late Melvin and Frances (Fry) Knife.

Janice is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Cori and Jeremy Knapke of Piqua, Ohio; two sons and daughter-in-law: Kelly and Patty Boram of Arcanum, Ohio and Scott Boram of St. Petersburg, Florida; three sisters and brothers-in-law: Sharon and Ron Widener of Casstown, Karen and Jerry Shorb of Galesburg, Michigan and Pam and Barry Bashore of Pleasant Hill, Ohio; one sister-in-law: Sally Knife Hirsch of Troy ; and grandsons: Micah Boram, Trent Mueller, Trevor Boram and Ethan, Gabe, Seth and Joshua Knapke, Zack Boram and Jordan and David Printz.  Janice was preceded in death by one daughter, Robin K. Boram on August 29, 2000; and two brothers: Charles Ronald Knife and Gary Knife.

Janice was a 1954 graduate of Troy High School.  She had a strong faith in Jesus Christ and was a longtime supporter of The Billy Graham Ministry.  Janice's special interest was her grandchildren.

Funeral services will be at 1:30 PM on Saturday, July 12, 2014 at Baird Funeral Home, Troy.  Burial will follow in Riverside Cemetery in Troy.  Friends may call from 5-9 PM on Friday at the funeral home.
