Janet Ann Rayve, age 97, of Troy, passed away on Monday, August 29, 2022, at her residence.  She was born on July 10, 1925, in Dalzell, IL, to the late Emilio and Catherine (Milano) Marsiani.

Janet was survived by one son: Brian R. Rayve, of Park City, UT;.  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband: Richard E. Rayve in 2019; and four half brothers and sisters: Minnie Rosetti, James Rosetti, John Rosetti and Martin Rosetti.

Janet came to Troy in 1964.  In 1966, she started selling "Belly Buttons" (tortelli) and egg noodles to local grocery stores in the area.  She worked for Westclox as a secretary before taking various administrative positions with the US Government.  Janet was a member of St. Patrick Catholic Church in Troy.  She was a very generous and loving person.  Janet was always fair and never expected anything in return.  She was a loving mother to her son, Brian.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:00 AM on Friday, September 2, 2022, at St. Patrick Catholic Church in Troy.  Burial will be in Riverside Cemetery in Troy.  Family will receive friends from 5:00 - 7:00 PM on Thursday, September 1, 2022, at Baird Funeral Home in Troy.
