Janet Louise Marr, age 85, of Troy, OH passed away on December 13, 2024.  She was born on December 24, 1938 in Sidney, OH to the late Richard T. and Catherine L. (Meiring) Koons.

Janet is survived by her son: Michael Rhynard of Troy; fiance': Raymond Lewis, Jr. of Huber Heights; granddaughter: Lauren (Isaac) Fisher of Cincinnati; brother: Danny Koons of Tipp City; sister: Joan Canan of Troy and many nieces and nephews.  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her first husband: Albert L. Rhynard, Jr. and second husband: Douglas C. Marr.

Janet was a 1956 graduate of Johnson-St. Paris (Graham) High School.  She retired from Kaffenbarger Truck Equipment Company in New Carlisle and was formerly employed with Hobart Brothers Company in Troy.

Janet was a former member of St. Patrick Catholic Church in Troy.  She loved doting on her granddaughter and spending time with her family.  She enjoyed family gatherings and traveling.

Funeral service will be held at 12:00 PM on Friday, December 20, 2024 at the Baird Funeral Home, Troy.  Interment will follow in Riverside Cemetery, Troy.  The family will receive friends prior to the service from 11:00 AM – 12:00 PM on Friday at the funeral home.
