Janet Jo (Jacomet) Jones, age 86, of Troy, OH passed away on July 29, 2023 at her home.  She was born on August 23, 1936 in Troy, OH to the late Robert G. and Irene A. (Sharits) Jacomet.

Janet married Henry Jones on May 18, 1968, and he survives.  She is also survived by her children: Kim L. North; Cindy J. (Jim) North Novak; Kimberly (Jones) Redman and Matthew (Cherise) Jones; two brothers: Robert (Dorothy) Jacomet and Ralph "Skip" Jacomet; grandchildren: Meika, Skylar and Tyler North, and Benjamon and Kelly Novak and Bobby, Rhonda, Shondel, and Megan, Alysa, Rachel and Nathaniel Jones. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother and sister-in-law: James Lee and Phyliss Jacomet.

Janet graduated from Troy High School in 1954.  She was formerly employed as an office manager and bookkeeper with Erwin Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram auto dealership, formerly C. Harry Houser-Robinson Houser auto dealership, in Troy.   She retired in 1988.  Janet worked at polling locations for elections and also volunteered at Hospice of Miami County.  She also liked to dance and was active with Double H Square Dance Club in Huber Heights.

Services will be held at 2:00 PM on Saturday, August 5, 2023, at Baird Funeral Home in Troy.  Interment will follow in Beechwood Cemetery in Lockington, OH.  The family will receive friends from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the funeral home on Saturday.
