Janey Hobart, age 53, of Casstown, OH died Saturday morning April 5, 2003 at her residence. She was born July 9, 1949, the daughter of Robert and Laura F. Rogers Lewis Trostel. Survivors include her husband of 33 years Jon Hobart; six grandchildren, Brittney Hobart; Amber Jenkins-Hobart; Katie Jenkins-Hobart; Brad Jenkins-Hobart; Abby Jenkins-Hobart & Devon Thieman; daughters and son-in-law, Tiffany & Eric Peltier of Piqua, OH; Heather Hobart of Christiansburg, OH; brothers and sisters-in-law, Ronald and Pat Trostel of Troy, OH; Gary and Rebecca Trostel of St. Paris, OH; sisters and brothers-in-law: Ruth and John Hines of Stevensville, MI; Karen and Keith Redding of McKinney, TX; numerous neices & nephews. Preceded in death by her father, Robert Trostel Jr. in 1966 and her step father, Walter E. Lewis in 1998. Mrs. Hobart was a member of First United Church of Christ, Troy, OH. She was a graduate of Miami East High School, class of '67; received B.A. from Wittenburg University and Masters Degree from University of Dayton. She was a former nurse with Stouder Memorial Hospital, Troy and currently, owner and operator of Healthy Connections, Troy and a counselor with the Miami County Mental Health, Dettmer Campus.
