Jane W. Yardlay, 76, of Troy, Ohio died on Monday, July 31, 2006 at her residence. She was born on October 2, 1929 in Coudersport, PA to the late George and Annabelle Blow Saulter. She married Rev. John D. Yardlay and he survives her husband of 58 years. Also surviving are five children, Janet Roger Griffieth of Troy, OH; Joanne Lewis of Wheaton, Ill; James D. Kimberly Yardlay of Troy, OH; Jolene Gary Kercher of Troy, OH and Jennifer Darrin Brumbaugh of Rossburg, OH; four brothers, Everett Saulter; Harland Saulter; Cliffton Saulter and Laverne Saulter all of Potter County, PA; fourteen grandchildren, David, Deborah, Daniel and Diana Griffieth; Chris Harshbarger; Krista Kercher; Gary Kercher Jr.; Julia Stokes; Alex Lewis; Chabree Yardlay Grove; Mara Yardlay; Erica Bashore; Ashlee Bashore and Jordan Brumbaugh; and five great-grandchildren, Jack Griffieth; Maxwell Griffieth; Dawn Gregg; Logan Markstrom and Briannah Bechner. She is preceded in death by one sister; four brothers and one granddaughter. She was a very active Pastor's wife with the following churches, Mt. Echo Bible Mission; Breedtown Baptist Church, Titusville, PA; Ithaca Baptist Church, Michigan; Independent Baptist Church, North Jackson, OH; Grace Baptist Church, Troy; Stillwater Community Church, Covington, OH; Lena Baptist, Conover, OH and First Baptist Church, Troy, OH. She was a LPN with Koester; Spring Meade Health Center; Stouder, and was also a Private Duty nurse. She also volunteered with Hospice. Funeral services will be held on Friday, August 4, 2006 at 10:30am at the First Baptist Church, Troy, OH with the Pastor Ralph Schaafsma officiating. Burial will be in Riverside Cemetery, Troy, OH. Friends may call on the family, Thursday, August 3, 2006 from 2-4 & 6-8PM at the Baird Funeral Home, Troy, Ohio.
