Jane J. Roark Jane J. Roark, 87, of Troy, OH, passed away Friday, August 24, 2007 at Harborside Health Care, Troy after a brief illness. She was born May 7, 1920 in Arcanum, Ohio, to the late Rayburn and Edith Hess Furlong. Her husband, Robert Gene Roark preceded her in death on January 13, 2001. She is survived by her granddaughter, Emily Folkerth Newell of Beavercreek, OH; niece, Carol Leckey of Sidney, OH; and nephew, William Furlong of Fairborn, OH. In addition to her parents and her husband, Jane was preceded in death by her son, Dixon Folkerth, and brothers: C. Edward Furlong and L. Paul Furlong. She was a longstanding member of the 18-Hole Women's League at Miami Shores Golf Club. Along with her husband, Jane operated Roark Furniture in Laura for 21 years and owned and operated the Home and Comfort Center in Tipp City for two years. Services will be 11:00AM Wednesday, August 29, 2007, at Baird Funeral Home, with Pastor Craig L. Fourman officiating. Interment will be at Riverside Cemetery, Troy, OH. Friends may call from 4-8PM on Tuesday and one hour prior to the service on Wednesday. Memorial contributions may be made to Wilson Memorial Hospice of Sidney.
