Jane Nichols, age 60 of Troy, Ohio died Friday, October 27 at her residence.  Mrs. Nichols was born June 23, 1940 in Hazard, KY to the Late, Guy R. and Nola J. Plank Hamilton.  She was married to Lloyd B. Nichols Sr. for 41 years and he survives.  She is also survived by son, Gregory Nichols of Tipp City, OH; daughters and sons-in-law, Kitty and Samuel DeBella of Troy; Carolyn Snyder of Celina; Kimberly Sturgill of Troy and Deborah Kaye Hargrave of Indianapolis, IN; two stepsons, Lloyd Nichols Jr. of Greenville and Steve Nichols of Columbus; one brother, Kenneth Hamilton of Springfield; five sisters, Christine Page of W. Liberty; Deliala 'Ernie' Tyree of Springfield; Georgia Hamilton of Louisiana; Judy Williams of Tennessee and Patty Watson of Springfield; sixteen grandchildren.  She was preceded in death by one sister, Valina Stillwell; three brothers, her twin, Wayne, Guy and a stillborn infant, Milton Eugene Hamilton.

Mrs. Nichols lived in Springfield for 18 years and was a member of the Troy Community for the last 30 years.  She attended Olive Branch High School, New Carlisle.

Services will be held 11am Wednesday, Nov. 1, 2000 at the Baird Funeral Home with Rev. Ed Ellis officiating.  Interment in Miami Memorial Park, Covington.  Friends may call 5-8PM at the Baird Funeral Home, Troy.  Contributions may be made to Hospice of Miami County, PO Box 502, Troy, OH 45373.
