Jane Douglas Evans, age 88, of Troy, passed away peacefully at her home, surrounded by her family, on March 25, 2025.  She was born on October 13, 1936, in Frankfort, KY, to the late Albert and Alberta (Woods) Morris.

Jane is survived by two children: Terri L. (Patrick) Jacomet of Troy, OH, and Lana J. (Dave) Studebaker of Englewood, OH; one brother: Gayle (Telitha) Woods of Frankfort, KY; grandchildren: Lauren (Tim) Habedank of Troy, OH, Cassidy (Jake) Knoop of Fletcher, OH and Kyle (Meghan) Shaw of San Juan Capistrano, CA; two step grandchildren: Troy (Kara) Jacomet of West Milton, OH, and Andrew (Leanna) Jacomet of Union, OH; and great grandchildren: Kylie, Cole, Landon, Levi, Charlie, Dannie, Aubrey, Rylie, Camryn and Oliver.  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband: Landon Evans in 2003; and one sister: Barbara Coleman.

Jane graduated from Eastern Kentucky University with a degree in Education.  Upon graduation, she entered the education field.  Jane and her husband later entered into various entrepreneurial ventures.  She loved golf and was a member of Couples and Ladies Leagues at Walnut Grove Country Club.  Jane enjoyed shopping with friends, spending time with family and reading.  She was also an avid Bridge player.

Memorial service will be held at 12:00 Noon on Monday, March 31, 2025, at Baird Funeral Home in Troy with Rev. Andral Gooden officiating.  Family will receive friends one hour prior to service at the funeral home.
