Jamie Kay Jantz Brandenburg Jamie Kay Jantz Brandenburg, age 35, of Anna, TX, died Sunday May 30th at Presbyterian Hospital of Dallas after her 5 year battle with cancer. She was born in Asbury Park, NJ on May 28, 1975, the daughter of Robert and Donna Brandenburg. Jamie grew up with her family in Troy, Ohio, she graduated from Troy High School in 1993. She continued her education at Bowling Green University and graduated with her degree in Special Education. Jamie accepted a job with McKinney ISD and made her move to Texas. She continued her teaching with Plano ISD as a Special Education Teacher and an Instructional Support Staff member for almost 10 years. Jamie made an impact on the lives of the many students she worked with and those staff members she worked with as well. Jamie is survived by her husband, Ryan and his family, J.J. Jantz and Shannon McGlasson, her parents, Robert and Donna Brandenburg, her sister and brother-in-law, Jennifer and David Macurak, and her four nieces, Megan, Shelby, Jordan, and Brandi Macurak. The family will receive friends at Baird Funeral Home, Troy, OH. The viewing is on Friday June 4th from 9:00-11:00 a.m. with the Burial Service following at Riverside Cemetery in Troy, Ohio.
