James F. Wray, 78, of Troy, Ohio died on Friday, May 19, 2006 at 5:30am at the Harborside Healthcare Center, Troy, Ohio after an extended illness. He was born on February 16, 1928 in Casstown, Ohio to the late Charles and Edith Jordan Wray. He married Anna J. Keller, his wife of 48 years, and she survives. Also surviving are a step son & step daughter-in-law; Jack J. & Carolyn Winters of Troy, OH. Also numerous nieces and nephews survive. He is preceded in death by his parents, two brothers and two sisters. He was a veteran of the US Army, serving during WWII; Moose Lodge; Elks Lodge #833; Eagles #971; Troy Fish and Game; Redmen's Lodge; VFW Post #5436; AMVETS Post #88; Franklin Lodge #14 F&AM and PAWS Animal Shelter, Springfield, Ohio. He started with Troy-Tipp Telephone, retiring from Verizon after 42 years of service. Funeral service will be held on Monday, May 22, 2206 at 2:00PM at the Baird Funeral Home with Rev. Dr. Rick Arrowood officiating. Burial will be in Riverside Cemetery, Troy, Ohio with VFW Military Honors at the cemetery.
