James Delmar Ward Jr., 63, of Troy, Ohio passed out of this life on Monday July 12, 2004 at the Koester Pavilion Nursing Care. He was born on January 24, 1941 in Jacksonville, IL. to the late James Delmar Sr. and Alberta Virginia Wilner Ward. He is survived by his wife, Vivian Joyce Ward and children, James D. Ward 111 of Troy, Ohio; Joy D. Lambert of Troy, Ohio; Rhonda Roni S. Forshee of Tipp City, Ohio; and Carla J. Rench of Tipp City, Ohio. He is also survived by his brother, Robert ''Bob'' A. Ward of of Troy, Ohio and sister, Helen M. Corbin of Arizona. Also niece, Kendra S. Hudgins of Troy, Ohio. He has eight grandchildren, Blake M. Ward; Justin C. Williams; Cory L. Lambert; Hunter J. Lambert; Jessica J. Williams; Summer J. Lambert; Cole A. Rench and Kira A. Rench. He was preceded in death by his parents, and a sister, Verna Jean Maccaluso. James was a sole proprietor of several car lots and auto body shops, a long-distance truck driver, and a Christian minister. He was an avid hunter and fisherman, a die-hard Cleveland Browns fan and a Cub Scout leader. He always worked to instill in his family the need for love, unity and committment. James was passionate about sharing Jesus with others and often spoke of looking forward to a glorious home coming and hearing the voice of his Savior saying, ''Well done my good and faithful servant.'' Brother Paul Napier will be officiating the service and burial will be in Riverside Cemetery, Troy, Ohio. Contributions may be made to Hospice of Miami County, PO Box 502, Troy, Ohio 45373.
