James E. Wagner, age 48, of Conover, Ohio passed away on Thursday, January 2, 2014 at his residence.  Jim was born on March 6, 1965 in Troy, Ohio to the late James H. Wagner and Karen A. (Shoop) Wagner.
Jim is survived by his wife, Jackie (Duncan) Wagner of 26 years of marriage; daughter, Whitney Wagner; son, Blane Wagner; sister, Lisa J. (Jeff) Wagner Rice of New Jersey; and nephews Joseph and Alex Rice.
Jim was a 1983 graduate of Miami East High School. He was employed with Quality Electrical Mechanical Services of Troy, Ohio and belonged to Plumbers and Pipe Fitters Local #162. The family would also like to offer special thanks to the following organizations: Ohio Junior Rodeo Association, Four State Youth Rodeo, U.S. Team Roping Championships, On the Road with Dawn and Clea, and McGuire Trucking Company.
Services will be held at 2:00PM on Sunday, January 5, 2014 at the Baird Funeral Home, Troy, Ohio with the Rev. Ed Sollenberger officiating.  Interment will follow the service in Casstown Cemetery, Casstown, Ohio.  The family will receive friends from 6:00-9:00PM on Saturday, January 4, 2014 at the funeral home.  Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of Miami County, PO Box 502, Troy, Ohio 45373 or the Wagner children's education fund in care of Unity National Bank, 1314 W.
