James H. Snook James H. Snook, age 61, of Troy, Ohio passed away at 11:03PM on Saturday, January 8, 2011 at Koester Pavilion, Troy, Ohio. He was born on June 3, 1949 in Portsmouth, Ohio to the late James Snook and Helen Caudill Pennington. He is survived by his wife of 38 years of marriage, Terry E. Welbaum Snook; three sons: Matthew J. Snook, Jason E. Snook and Kevin A. Snook all of Troy; four brothers and a sister: Richard Snook of Portsmouth, Linda Smith of Troy, Danny Pennington of Portsmouth, Mike Pennington of Portsmouth and Paul Compliment of Greenville, Ohio. He was a US Army Veteran of the Vietnam War. He was formerly employed with the Dayton Forging & Heat Treating Company. A memorial service will be held at 2:00PM on Friday, January 14, 2011 at Baird Funeral Home, Troy. The family will greet friends following the service.
