James R. Rose died at Upper Valley Medical Center on Friday, October 19, 2001. He is survived by his father, John W. Dells, Jr; mother, Barbara Hill Rose; grandmother, Madeline M. Hill; and brother, John W. Dells III. He was preceded in death by his grandfather, Robert L. Hill. Mr. Rose attended Ginghamsburg United Methodist Church; was involved in mission trips to East Asia and was active in Campus Crusade at Bowling Green University. He taught ACLLS Advance Cardiac Life Support; PALS Pediatric Advance Life Support and was a certified EMT-P and a member of the Emergency Nurses Association. He graduated from Troy High School in 1987; received a Bachelors Degree in Interpersonal Communication at Bowling Green University and Bachelors Degree in Nursing at the Wright State University. He had been accepted in and attending the Masters program at the University of Cincinnati. He was a registered nurse at Good Samaritan Hospital, Dayton.
