James L. Parker, 76, passed out of this life on Thursday, February 19, 2004 at the Koester Pavilion Nursing Facility in Troy, Ohio. He was born on Novermber 16, 1927 in Richmond, Indiana to the late Will and Rebecca Weisbrod Parker. Along with his parents being deceased, also his wife, Marilyn J. Pegg Parker who passed in 1999, and a brother, Joe Parker. He is survived by four children; Sons: Jerry Parker; Jeffrey Parker; and Jay Parker all of Troy, Ohio and a daughter, Donita Thayer of Troy, Ohio. He is survived by one sister, Mary Parker of Richmond, Indiana. He has four grandchildren; Elizabeth Thayer; Dana Thayer; Megan and Joe Parker. Mr. Parker served in the Marines during the Korean Conflict and was a member at the American Legion Post of New Paris, Ohio. He graduated from Richmond High School in Richmond, Indiana. He retired in 1991 from US Air as a Customer Service Agent. There will be Memorial Honor Guard Services at the graveside. Contributions may be made to the Parkinson's Foundation.
