James Richard LeVeck James Richard LeVeck, age 80, of Troy, Ohio went home to be with the Lord at 8:30PM on Tuesday, October 13, 2009 at his residence. He was born on September 5, 1929 in Sidney, Ohio, to the late Joseph Leroy and Myrtle Iva Snurr LeVeck. He was married to Doris Jean Cyphers LeVeck who preceded him in death. Survivors include his daughter and son-in-law, Dorothy R. LeVeck and Steven George of Springfield, Ohio; son and daughter-in-law, Lance R. and Kim LeVeck of Troy; sister, Betty J. LeVeck Poole of McDonough, Georgia; five grandchildren: Christopher, Jennifer and Helen George, Lance LeVeck II and Shannon LeVeck; five great-grandchildren: Keegan, Kelynn, Alex and James Cameron LeVeck and Jayden James George; and many nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents and his wife, Mr. LeVeck was preceded in death by brothers, Joseph and Robert LeVeck and sisters: Helen Dearmond, Nancy Gurklies, Kathrine LeVeck Cyphers and Dorothy LeVeck He was a US Army Veteran and a member of Union Local #104 for 43 years. He worked as a Union Carpenter. Funeral services will be held at 10:00AM Monday, October 19, 2009 at Baird Funeral Home, Troy, with interment to follow at Riverside Cemetery, Troy.
