James Allen Kinder, age 70, of Troy, passed away on Wednesday, January 26, 2022, at Greenbriar Nursing Home in Eaton, OH.  He was born on January 18, 1952, in Troy, to the late Robert Oscar and Bonita Jean (Kessler) Kinder.

James is survived by his wife of 50 years: Almeda (Berry) Kinder; three sons: Timothy (Jennifer) Kinder of Troy, OH, Phillip (Barbara) Kinder of Kokomo, IN and Andrew (Sandra) Kinder of Troy; two brothers: Stephen (Nancy) Kinder of Piqua and Keith (Lynette) Kinder of Tipp City; one sister: Tina (Don) Kettle of Troy; sister-in-law: Linda Kinder of Vandalia;  ten grandchildren: Rachel, Sarah, Rob, Jacob, Hannah, Isaac, Myla, Silas, Jamin and Etta; and three great grandchildren: Ezekiel, Arabella and Niko. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by brother: Robert and granddaughter: Elizabeth.

James was a 1971 graduate of Tipp City High School.  He loved fishing, wood working, puzzles and small engine repair.  James enjoyed the family cottage in Michigan.  James served his local church in many ways.  He was a 32-year employee of Graphic System Services. James was a veteran of the US Army Reserve.

A Memorial Service will be held at 2PM on Saturday, January 29, 2022 at the Troy Church of the Nazarene, 1200 Barnhart Road, Troy.
