James K. Miller James K. Miller, age 69, of Casstown, Ohio, went to be with his Lord at 7:50PM January 27, 2008 at his residence after an extended illness. He was born December 30, 1938 in Franklin Co., Ohio, to the late Jay Henry and Marvel Marie Gilbert Miller. He is survived by his loving wife of 46 years, Patricia A. Welsh Miller of Casstown. He is also survived by two daughters and sons-in-law: Paula and Tim Strebig of Bellefontaine, Ohio, and Tricia and Tim Peters of Troy; one son and daughter-in-law: Dave and Sarah Miller of Avon Lake, Ohio; three brothers and sisters-in-law: Clarence William and Brenda Miller of Alabama, George H. and Rozella Miller of Delaware, Ohio and John Richard and Rhonda Miller of Pickerington, Ohio; one sister and brother-in-law: Patricia A. and Stan Scott of Missouri; and five grandchildren: Kristin, Erik and Kendra Strebig, Gabrielle Peters and Reagan Miller. Mr. Miller was preceded in death by his parents. He attended the Living Word Church, Vandalia. He loved to play golf and enjoyed football. Mr. Miller retired from Hobart Corp. /ITW on January 2, 2008 as Manager of Technical Support Food Machines: He began his career in Charleston, S.C. and transferred to Troy in 1973 where he spent the rest of his career. He was also a U.S. Air Force Veteran. He owned and operated Miller's Apple Mill since 1988. There was nothing he delighted in more than his family. Funeral services will be held at 10:30AM on Saturday, February 2, 2008 at Baird Funeral Home, Troy, with the Rev. Douglas E. Peters officiating. Interment will be at Riverside Cemetery with Military Honors at the gravesite. Friends may call from 4-8PM Friday at the funeral home.
